Positions: Solar Segment (AGM / Sr Manager)
Role :
This is a senior position focused on developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive the growth of our EV connectors business. The person will work closely with the Engineering & Regional Sales teams and collaborate with the marketing department to achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and enhance brand awareness.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives and revenue targets for EV connectors.
- Identify and target potential customers and market segments like EV Charger Manufacturers, OEMs, Automobile manufacturers to expand the customer base and increase sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, addressing their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing & engineering teams to create effective marketing campaigns, promotional material, and digital content to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Provide sales forecasts, market intelligence, and reports to the Management, highlighting key performance metrics, market trends, and opportunities.
- Lead and motivate the sales team, setting segment sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and support to achieve sales goals.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to establish the company’s presence, build relationships, and generate leads.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the EV industry, including technological advancements, regulatory changes, and market trends, and incorporate them into sales and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure effective product launches, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
- BE / B.Tech- Electrical, E&TC, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or Mechanical
- 10 -15 years of experience in sales and marketing in automotive / related relevant Industry
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, strategies, and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve goals.
